ShapeBefore Event

Shape
  • Wake up the computer and log in.
  • The Username and Password is NextGen.
  • Plug the USB cable into the console. Make sure the orange light comes on before launching the Vista software.
    • If the orange light does not come on, unplug and plug in the USB cable  until it does.
  • Launch the Vista software. When the software loads, launch the show with the name of the room you're in and the highest version. i.e. “The Loft V6”
  • Turn the house lights on with the left most fader on the console. If the house lights don't come on, ensure the “GM” knob at the top of the board is rotated all the way clockwise.
  • Run through rehearsal with excellence as if it was the service to ensure all cues work.
  • During rehearsal, take notes on colors, pacing, and presets you'll use during the service.
  • Do whatever it takes to connect with your team and have a great service!

After Event

Shape
  • On the lighting board, pull down all the faders except the house lights. Press the release button within the software on the computer to release the stage lights.
  • Verify that all stage lights are off.
    • The stage lights must be off before you quit Vista. When the stage is dark, then Vista can be closed.
    • If Vista is closed and stage lights are on, you MUST re-open the software with the before event procedures for the lights to turn off and then repeat the After Event procedures.
  • Quit Vista
  • When prompted to save, select "DISCARD". Do not save.
  • Log out of the computer. PLEASE DO NOT SHUT DOWN THE COMPUTER.
